Since last fall, Chinese government’s environmental protection policy
and tight demand for COVID-19 test kits have spurred soaring prices of
silica gel raw materials and difficulty in securing raw materials.
We propose clay desiccant, which is a natural mineral, as an alternative
desiccant. If desiccant does not come into direct contact with metal, or
if it is used as a humidity control agent or anti-condensation agent, we
